Rosewood Mayakoba Appoints New Director of Marketing

Riviera Maya, MEXICO - May 17, 2011 - Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the premier manager of ultra-luxury properties throughout the world, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karin Salinas as the Director of Marketing of Rosewood Mayakobá in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. As Director of Marketing, Salinas will oversee the development of the sales team, coordination of public relations efforts and strategic planning to maximize both hotel revenue and occupancy.

An 18-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Salinas most recently worked with One&Only Resorts as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Latin America and Caribbean segment of the company and prior to that held positions with leading hotels in various parts of the world, including Ritz-Carlton properties in Qatar and Chile, Renaissance Houston Hotel and Swissotel Quito in Ecuador. She is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
