Gemini Real Estate Advisors Announces Appointments of Scott Yo & Anisa Musgrove
NEW YORK - June 1, 2011 - New York City-based Gemini Real Estate Advisors, LLC, is pleased to announce the appointments of Scott Yo as general manager for The GEM Hotel Midtown West and Comfort Inn Midtown West/Convention Center, and Anisa Musgrove as corporate area sales manager. Yo will oversee daily operations of both hotels, including guest services and a team of 35 associates. Musgrove will handle leisure and corporate sales for The GEM Hotel Midtown West, as well as the Comfort Inn Midtown West/Convention Center and the Comfort Inn Times Square South.
Most recently, Yo served as director of operations at the Ace Hotel New York, where he was a member of the Executive & Steering Committee overseeing reservations, housekeeping and engineering operations. Yo has over seven years of New York City hospitality experience and previously held management positions at several Big Apple boutique hotels such as The Cooper Square Hotel, the Tribeca Grand Hotel, the Soho Grand Hotel and Ian Schrager Hotels (now Morgans Hotel Group), including The Royalton and The Paramount. Yo is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Prior to joining Gemini Real Estate Advisors, LLC, Musgrove was the business travel sales manager for the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick in New Jersey, where she was recognized as “sales team of the year” and named a Hyatt Master for exceptional sales achievement. Musgrove's past hospitality industry experience includes roles at The Peabody Orlando in Florida and Costa Cruises in Hollywood, FL. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
