A Trio of Promotions at Hotel Duval

TALLAHASSEE, FL - June 1, 2011 - Hotel Duval, a style icon and the first and only boutique hotel in Tallahassee creating a chic retreat, proudly announces a trio of promotions within its food and beverage and marketing teams. Promoting current team members as the new managers at Hotel Duval's Level 8 rooftop lounge and at LeRoc Bistro, as well as the digital media and marketing manager, Hotel Duval continues to ensure a dynamic and hardworking staff.

Manager, Level 8 Rooftop Lounge
Daniel Scantlan has been promoted from bartender to bar manager at Hotel Duval's Level 8 rooftop lounge. In his current position, Scantlan directs day-to-day operations, manages 25 employees and ensures unsurpassed customer satisfaction at the only lounge of its kind from Atlanta to South Beach. Before joining the Hotel Duval team, Scantlan was employed by Mozaik Restaurant and Bar and Miller's Ale House, both in Tallahassee. Scantian received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in April 2011.

Manager, LeRoc Bistro
Amber Schultheis has been promoted from shift leader and server to manager of Hotel Duval's LeRoc Bistro. In her new position, Schultheis is responsible for daily operations, staffing and training. A Hotel Duval employee since 2009, she was previously employed by Chili's and Team Enterprise Marketing in Tallahassee. Schultheis received her Bachelor of Science in Management from Florida State University in April 2009.

Digital Media & Marketing Manager
Since joining the Hotel Duval team in September 2009, Adrianna Juran was responsible for operations for in-room dining and managing LeRoc Bistro. In her new position as Digital Media & Marketing Manager, Juran is responsible for organizing and executing events including creating promotional pieces for various property campaigns and events. Before joining the Hotel Duval team, Judan was an interior designer with Prescott Architects in Destin, FL and design intern for La Coquina Restaurant in Orlando, FL. Juran graduated from Florida State University in April 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
