IHG Names Rodolfo Denz Regional Revenue Manager, Lating America & Caribbean

June 3, 2011 - IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)], has named Rodolfo Denz Regional Revenue Manager, Latin America & Caribbean for IHG. He will be based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Denz, who has been with IHG since 2004, will be responsible for overseeing the region's inventory and rate management strategies, yield management optimization, and helping to develop appropriate selling strategies for IHG's 75 multi-branded properties throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. He will also be an integral part of the region's forecasting process, as well as support the sales and marketing team.

Prior to his new role, Denz was Revenue and Reservations Manager for the InterContinental São Paulo, where he recently earned an IHG 'Best of the Best' award as Revenue and Reservations Manager of the Year for the Region. Prior to that he worked with Transamerica Flats, a hotel owning company, where he was responsible for pre-opening operations.

Denz has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pontifica Catholic University of São Paulo, as well as a post graduate degree in Tourism and Hotel Business Market Management from the University of São Paulo.

IHG has 75 hotels across Latin America and the Caribbean, throughout 20 countries and territories, and has been serving Latin America for 65 years.
