June 7, 2011 - Warwick International Hotels has announced the affiliation of the luxurious Hotel Europe, the first five-star hotel in Belarus' thriving capital city of Minsk. First established in 1841 as one of Eastern Europe's finest hotels, it was entirely rebuilt in 2007, boasting a seven-story atrium style interior set in historic elegance. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, residing next to City Hall and the Palace of the Republic and within close proximity to businesses, luxurious boutiques, art galleries and chic cafes. At the hotel, an outstanding service staff awaits, many of whom speak French, German or English, in addition to Russian.

Mamaison Hotel Riverside in Prague was the first Eastern European hotel to become a WIH affiliate, joining the collection in the 1990s. “WIH has increased our focus on meeting the needs of guests from Eastern Europe during the past three years by hiring more sales and management personnel located at various hotels and resorts worldwide,” said LeBlanc. “We also have a dedicated salesperson based in Paris that works nearly exclusively with various governmental offices, corporations and companies and guests handling their special requests and needs. Many of the Group's hotels have their brochure translated in Russian, and some hotels, such as those in Paris and Geneva, having entire sections of their individual hotel sites available in Russian.”

The hotel offers 67 spacious rooms and suites combining classical decor with the most modern amenities, including complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connections throughout the hotel, air-conditioning and LCD flat-screen televisions. The hotel's conference facilities for up to 30 persons have natural light and are the most technologically advanced in Minsk. A state-of-the-art Business Centre is also available for guest's use.
