Berryfield Hotel Group Appoints Sam McKay GM of Staybridge Suites Tallahassee
ATLANTA, GA - June 23, 2011 - Berryfield Hotel Group has appointed Sam McKay General Manager at the Staybridge Suites Tallahassee.
Sam brings two decades of management experience with him from Manager roles with Marriott International, McKibbon Hotel Management, and Hilton Worldwide. Sam has been a General Manager in the Tallahassee area since 2006 serving as General Manager and then as Cluster General Manager with McKibbon Hotel Management and General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn. In 2007 Sam was awarded “Sales General Manager of the Year” for Courtyard by Marriott Brand. “We are thrilled to have a talented General Manager like Sam join our management portfolio.” said Carl Newberry, CEO. “Sam's energy and experience managing extended stay brands will help Staybridge Suites Tallahassee achieve many awards for our owners.” Newberry added, “We are excited about Sam joining our growing management company.” Sam lives in Tallahassee with his wife and two sons.
