Associated Luxury Hotels International Adds Amy Butterfield As DoS in West Region

July 6, 2011 - Amy Butterfield, CMP , has joined Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) as Director of Sales in their West Region. In her new position she is responsible for providing meeting professionals, association executives, convention specialists, and business executives with dedicated ALHI National Sales Organization (NSO) services for its distinctive portfolio of more than 130 Four- and Five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts worldwide, which offer over 100,000 rooms and suites and more than 10 million square feet of meeting space. Butterfield will primarily focus on business development for ALHI's members, in Southern California, including Los Angeles and San Diego, along with other strategic accounts. The announcement of Butterfield's appointment was made jointly by ALHI President and CEO David Gabri and ALHI Regional Vice President Chris Riccardi. Butterfield is based in ALHI's National Sales office in Southern California.

During her tenure at the magnificent San Diego resort she was awarded Top Producer for four consecutive years. Prior to Grand Del Mar she served for seven years as the Director of Catering & Convention Services for Hyatt Regency La Jolla in La Jolla, California, where she was nominated as Hyatt Corporation's Director of Catering & Convention Services of the Year in 2005. She is a member of the Southern California chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and the Southern California chapter of the Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE).
