Bob Nero Named GM of Aston Hotels & Resorts Sun Valley
HONOLULU, HI - July 22, 2011 - Aston Hotels & Resorts has named Bob Nero to the post of general manager of the Aston Hotels & Resorts Sun Valley. Nero brings expertise in hospitality industry management and a deep commitment to the Sun Valley community, where he has lived and worked since 1974.
Nero holds a degree in business management from California State University, Fullerton. His business career includes previous management of Sun Valley resorts and ownership of his own insurance and product distribution companies. In the community, he has served on the boards of directors and economic development teams for a wide range of organizations, including the Sun Valley/Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau, the Ketchum/Sun Valley Rotary Club, Pioneer Montessori School and the Ketchum Community Development Corporation.
Nero says he looks forward to the broad range of duties and the challenge of managing Aston Hotels & Resorts Sun Valley, which includes resort condominiums and private vacation homes throughout Elkhorn, Warm Springs, Ketchum and Sun Valley, Idaho. “I was happy in the business sector but missed the challenge of the resort industry.
