Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel Announces New Management Team Hires

BATON ROUGE, LA - August 8, 2011 - The Renaissance Baton Rouge, a new 256-room luxury hotel scheduled for a late September 2011 opening, has announced the hiring of the following members to its management team:

• Bryan Holladay - Director of Human Resources.

  Bryan will be responsible for all HR-related functions including the hiring of personnel. He was previously Assistant Director of Human Resources at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown.

• David Long - Director of Food & Beverage. David will oversee all areas of Food & Beverage including the restaurant, bar and banquet department. He was previously Director of Food & Beverage at the Crowne Plaza Hilton Head.

• Aaron Chapin - Director of Revenue Management. Aaron will be responsible for the rate positioning of the hotel in order to maximize the hotel's yielding efforts. Aaron was previously Director of Revenue Management at the Sheraton Suites Tampa Bay.

• Sheila Kerschenbaum - Controller. Sheila will be responsible for all financial controls and ongoing financial reporting of the hotel. Sheila was previously Controller of the Westin Coral Gables.

Located 1 mile south of Interstate 10 at the corner of Bluebonnet Boulevard and Anselmo Lane, the Renaissance Baton Rouge will offer spa services, a fully equipped fitness center, a resort-style pool and courtyard, a fine dining restaurant and lounge, and incredible artwork by several Louisiana artists, including world-renowned CC Lockwood. The hotel is conveniently situated between the Mall of Louisiana, the area's major regional shopping mall, and Perkins Rowe, a popular upscale lifestyle center, as well as numerous health service providers, including Our Lady of the Lake Regional Hospital, Baton Rouge General Hospital, Ochsner Hospital, and various other medical facilities.
