Erin Ennis Named New Director of National Accounts, Southeast Region, for Grand Wailea

WAILEA, MAUI, HI - August 8, 2011 - Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort is pleased to announce Erin Ennis as director of national accounts, handling the Southeast Region, to include Associations, as well as the “Four Corner” states of Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.
With over 15 years of experience in hospitality sales, Ennis rejoins the Grand Wailea team from Terra Resort Group where she served as national sales manager for the past two years. Prior to that, Ennis worked as the director of sales and marketing for Snow King Resort also in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Her first experience with Grand Wailea was from 2005 through 2007 as the resort's national sales manager, overseeing the Northeast and insurance market, for which she was awarded the Circle of Excellence from Hilton for outstanding sales achievement.
Before moving to Maui, Hawaii in 2005, Ennis served as the sales manager of the Snake River Lodge & Spa in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she was nominated by Vail Resorts Inc. for Sales Manager of the Year. She began her career in the hospitality industry at the historic Wort Hotel in Jackson Hole, Wyo., where over eight years she worked her way from assistant to the director of sales and marketing, to catering and conference services manager and then to sales manager, where she managed the group and wholesale markets as well as public relations.
Ennis first responsibility for Grand Wailea is representing the resort at the American Society of Association Executives conference in St. Louis. Originally from Washington State, Ennis graduated from Indiana University and also completed the Professional Development Program in the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
