SEATTLE, WA - August 10, 2011 - Cedarbrook Lodge, the No. 1 hotel in the world on the Expedia ® 2011 Insiders' Select® List and No. 1 hotel in the U.S. in the TripAdvisor® 2011 Travelers' Choice® Awards, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tasha Sawabini as associate director of sales.

As Associate Director of Sales, Sawabini will prospect, solicit and confirm business within market segmentations designated to meet or exceed established goals for rooms, food and beverage, and ancillary revenue. She will be responsible for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty while effectively blending customer needs, wants and expectations within those of the hotel. Sawabini will assume a leadership role for the department in the absence of the Director of Sales.

Cedarbrook Lodge first welcomed Sawabini in December 2010 as a contract sales manager. Prior to that, she was the chef and owner of Elegant Gourmet Catering and Tasha's Bistro Cafe in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle. From 2000 to 2009, she was the National Account Director for Seattle's Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Sawabini is a founding member of the Rat Cty Rollergirls roller derby team and a volunteer for the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, biking and other outdoor activities, reading, cooking and traveling.
