Abby Morgan Appointed DoSM at The Joule, Dallas
Dallas, TX - August 18, 2011 - The Joule, Dallas has announced the appointment of Abby Morgan as Director of Sales. Morgan is responsible for boosting sales and marketing efforts for this Downtown Dallas hotel, including innovative strategies to entice groups to the hotel's boardroom and meeting spaces.
"Abby's creative sales approach and intimate knowledge of the Dallas market should prove a great asset, and we're pleased to have her on board," said Brendan Carlin, Managing Director of The Joule.
Morgan joins The Joule from Hotel ZaZa, in the Uptown district of Dallas, where she began as Sales Manager for Group and Business Travel before being promoted to Senior Sales Manager during her five-year run. Prior to that, Morgan was Catering Sales Manager at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Dallas from 2005-2006 and a Senior Account Executive at Lone Star Park, where she was responsible for catering services and meeting spaces from 2001-2005. Morgan's foray into the industry was in 1998 as Catering Sales Manager for the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas.
Born and raised in Grapevine, Texas, Morgan studied Humanities at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She currently resides in Dallas.
