MIAMISBURG, OH - September 6, 2011 - The Wyndham Garden Dayton South hotel officially commemorates its grand opening today, following the conclusion of a five-month, multi-million dollar transformation to join the upscale Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® brand. The renovation of the 134-room Miamisburg hotel has modernized the public spaces and guest rooms, atrium, business center, fitness center, market place and extensive meeting space, redefining the hotel as the centerpiece of south Dayton.

The interiors of this unique landmark property, ideally situated on the corner of OH-741 and OH-725, have been completely rejuvenated, bringing a fresh, stylish look to the hotel's three floors.

Guest room upgrades include new modern furniture, lighting, art decor, oversized flat-screen high-definition televisions, complimentary wired and wireless Internet access, as well as Wyndham's signature Be Well® bedding. Renovated rooms and bathrooms now feature granite surfaces and luxurious Wyndham signature bath amenities.

The project has enhanced the entire hotel, introducing new features including an art gallery with early aviation artwork and a market place with grab-and-go items for guests' convenience. Hotel guests have access to a 24-hour business center as well as a 24-hour health and fitness center. Additional services include complimentary shuttle service within a five-mile radius, on-site restaurant and lounge and room service.

The Wyndham Garden Dayton South provides more than 15,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting and event space for business functions, weddings and events. The space includes the newly remodeled 6,500-square-foot Plaza Ballroom that can accommodate up to 800 people. An on-site catering staff coordinates food and beverage service and advanced technology and audiovisual equipment is available.

The hotel is owned by an affiliate of Blue Cougar Investments, LLC, a New York-based investment firm and managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
