Provenance Hotels Appoints Chris Bebo GM of 127-room Lucia in Portland, OR
PORTLAND, OR - October 5, 2011 - Provenance Hotels is pleased to announce the hiring of Chris Bebo as general manager of the Hotel Lucia in downtown Portland. The appointment marks a return for Bebo to Provenance Hotels, where he previously served as general manager of Hotel deLuxe in Portland and the Hotel Max in Seattle.

Over a career spanning more than a dozen years in senior management positions, Bebo has established an impressive track record in hotel management, operational oversight and building the highly effective, dynamic teams that are key to creating a memorable guest experience. A graduate of Arizona State University, where he studied tourism management, Bebo began his career overseeing Summit Group properties like the Hawthorne Suites in Vernon, Ill. and Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Detroit, Mich. before moving to the Pacific Northwest for a position as operations director at the Governor Hotel in Portland, Ore.
He joined Provenance Hotels as opening general manager of the Hotel deLuxe where, under his direction, the hotel was recognized by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the best new hotels in 2007. His next position was at the helm of Provenance Hotels' chic, urban Hotel Max in Seattle and, most recently, he has served as general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn in Beaverton, Ore., a CSM property.
