BayStar Hotel Group Names Nancy A. Rocker, CHA as GM of Hotel Indigo - St. Petersburg
TAMPA, FL - December 12, 2011 - BayStar Hotel Group has hired Nancy A. Rocker, CHA as the general manager (GM) of the Hotel Indigo - St. Petersburg Historic Downtown District.
Rocker brings more than 20 years experience in hotel operations, sales, food and beverage, and HR to the position. Most recently she served as GM of the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel in Melbourne, Fla. Since 2002 she held GM positions with several Orlando area hotels, including a Holiday Inn Express & Suites Quality Suites, Hawthorn Suites and Hyatt Place Orlando Universal.
She holds a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation from the American Lodging Association and the ServSafe Manager Certification Food and Alcohol designation.
