Scott Flexman Named VP of Sales & Marketing for Fontainebleau

MIAMI BEACH, FL, February 5, 2007. Fontainebleau Miami Beach is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Flexman to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In this position, Flexman will oversee all sales and marketing efforts for the legendary resort, including the meeting and leisure markets. Fontainebleau Miami Beach is currently undergoing a $1 billion expansion and renovation scheduled for completion in mid 2008.

Flexman, who has more than 20 years of hotel experience, previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Landsdowne Resort, a AAA Four Diamond Award-winning property in Northern Virginia. Before that, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Boca Raton Resort & Club. His management experience also includes four years at Caribe Royale in Orlando and 16 years in various management positions with Stouffer and Renaissance Hotels.

Flexman attended the University of Illinois and is a member of Meeting Professionals International and Financial & Insurance Conference Planners.

Once the renovation and expansion project of the landmark Fontainebleau Miami Beach is fully complete, the 1,504-room complex will include a world-class 40,000-square-foot spa, 11 restaurants and lounges, pool complex, 58 meeting rooms totaling 107,000 square feet, 42,000 square feet of pre-function areas and 51,000 square feet of space for hosting a variety of outdoor functions.
