OTO Development, LLC Welcomes Elton and Lesser as General Managers

February 1, 2012 - OTO Development, LLC announces the appointment of new general managers in its portfolio of select-service properties.

Phil Elton is named general manager for the 117-room SpringHill Suites in Erie, PA. Elton is native to the greater Erie area, having been raised in nearby Edinboro. He attended Edinboro University and joins OTO with prior GM experience from the Holiday Inn Express in Findley Lakes and sales experience with Scott Enterprises. The 2nd GM in the Erie hotel's history, Elton replaces Cory Cartwright, OTO's opening general manager in Erie, who has transferred to the company's Columbia, MD SpringHill Suites property.

Mark Lesser joins the company as general manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites in National Harbor, MD. Lesser joins OTO with previous experience with the Doubletree Guest Suites and Hilton Garden Inn Brands. In addition to his Washington area experience, Lesser has held leadership roles in the New York City market at Doral Park Ave and Helmsley Carlton. He previously worked for RJS Hospitality, where he was vp sales & marketing.
