BATON ROUGE, LA - June 13, 2012 - The Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel has announced the appointment of Stephen Boyd as manager of Tallulah Crafted Food and Wine Bar, the hotel's casual upscale restaurant, and Cody Bertone as rooms division manager.

Stephen recently served as the food & beverage director at the King Bar and Bistro inside the Hotel Indigo in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, he oversaw all operations at the restaurant in order to achieve maximum profitability, and maintain quality of environment and level of customer service.

Stephen began his career in the restaurant and hospitality industries as a bartender and server at the Hotel Indigo, Texas De Brazil Churrascaria, Champps Americana Restaurant, and at the Paradise Casino Corporation in Peoria, IL. In these positions, he honed his skills in customer service, vendor relations and sales strategy.

Cody comes to the Renaissance Baton Rouge from the Omni Royal Crescent Hotel in New Orleans, LA. As the director of operations, he was responsible for all areas of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and R & M Operations. Under Cody's supervision, the Hotel moved up from a three diamond property to an impressive AAA four diamond property. He also maintained the highest Associate Opinion Survey scores in both 2010 and 2011.
