Eos Airlines Appoints David S. Pottruck as Non-Executive Chairman
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 11, 2005. Eos, the first premium airline serving transatlantic business travelers, today announced the appointment of David S. Pottruck as non-executive Chairman effective immediately. Mr. Pottruck is Managing Director of The Pottruck Group, a San Francisco private equity firm. Mr. Pottruck also serves as a Senior Fellow in the Wharton School of Business Center for Leadership and Change Management and is a Director of Intel. In July of 2004, Mr. Pottruck resigned after a 20-year career having served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of the Charles Schwab Corporation.
