Signature Promotes Michael Civita to National Account Manager
COLUMBUS, OH, Febrary 15, 2007. Signature Worldwide is pleased to announce the promotion of regional training team leader Michael Civita to national account manager. In his new role, Civita will be responsible for evolving partnerships with Signature's hospitality clients at the corporate and ownership level. Using a consultative approach to relationship building, Civita will help Signature clients regularly review their goals and monitor progress and results, as well as communicate shifts in strategy to Signature's training account managers.
"Michael was promoted to national account manager because of the successful relationships he has built with his clients over the years," said Chief Operating Officer Becky Wolever. "Michael works closely with his clients to understand their changing business challenges and strategies, making sure the provided training program is closely aligned with their goals. Civita began his career with Signature in July of 2000 as a regional training account manager covering the northeast United States. He later was promoted to regional training team leader, managing a team of six training account managers. Prior to joining Signature, Civita held such positions as revenue manager, reservations manager, front office manager and director of guest services for multiple Hyatt Regency locations.
His experience includes creating the guest services training manual for individual properties within the Hyatt Corporation. He also helped develop the revenue management system for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts Corporate, which was implemented internationally.
Civita earned his degree in hotel and restaurant management from Paul Smith's College, Paul Smiths, NY. He will share his new responsibilities with Senior Vice President Mark Johnson, who also serves as a national account manager.
