Nancy Rednor Named GM of Congress South Beach

Miami Beach, FL - December 4, 2012 - Nancy Rednor has been appointed General Manager of the Congress South Beach, an oceanfront boutique hotel located on Miami's famed Ocean Drive. As General Manager, she is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the 87-room hotel including all sales, revenue, marketing, front desk, food and beverage and housekeeping departments.

Prior to joining Congress South Beach, Rednor was the Director of Catering and Convention Services at the Perry South Beach hotel in Miami Beach where she oversaw group programming and events for the hotel's 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor spaces. Some of the events she managed while at the Perry South Beach included Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Miami Beach Polo, Model Beach Volleyball, and the hotel's Rooftop Pool events. Previously, Rednor was Project Manager for Paragon Entertainment's Backlot Wine Bar and Lounge inside the Paragon Theater in Coconut Grove, Florida, playing a key role in the design and development of the bar and lounge concept creating all food and beverage menus and training the staff.

With a strong background in the food and beverage industry, Rednor also served as Food and Beverage Director at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Miami and Orlando, Florida and in Albuquerque and Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico.

Rednor graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism and resides in Miami.
