Gale Miami Hotel & Residences is proud to announce the appointment of James D'Agostino as its new Complex General Manager. A respected hospitality professional with over two decades of experience in the Miami hospitality market, D'Agostino brings deep operational expertise and a people-first philosophy to his leadership role. In addition to his new responsibilities at Gale Miami, he continues to serve as General Manager of Gale South Beach, underscoring his commitment to the growth and excellence of the Gale Hotels portfolio.

D'Agostino began his hospitality career as a bellman at the Sagamore Hotel and spent 16 years rising through the ranks to become general manager. Throughout his career, he has worked in nearly every department, including front desk, guest relations, sales, and operations, cultivating a well-rounded and empathetic leadership style.

His career also includes pivotal leadership roles at Hyatt Centric South Beach and the Courtyard by Marriott in Coconut Grove, where he successfully steered both properties through the challenges of the pandemic and spearheaded operational transitions and performance improvements.

At Gale Miami, D'Agostino will focus on elevating daily operations, enhancing guest satisfaction, and introducing new cultural programming that reflects the vibrant energy of the surrounding neighborhood. Gale Miami stands out as a premier destination, offering spacious condo-style rooms with full kitchens and balconies, a full-service spa and gym, and refined dining experiences. Known for his approachable and team-driven management style, D'Agostino leads by example. He prioritizes open communication, possesses a deep understanding of every department, and believes that recognition and support are essential to fostering a positive work environment. "I've done almost every job in a hotel, so if I can help a team member, I will—whether it's with day-to-day questions or concerns, or simply making sure their voice is heard," he said. Looking ahead, D'Agostino is preparing Gale Miami for major upcoming events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
