Les Clefs d'Or USA Accepts Austin, TX Hotel Concierge, Michael Sandoval, as New Member

AUSTIN, TX - October 23, 2013 - The AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center today announced that Chef Concierge Michael Sandoval was accepted as a new member of Les Clefs d'Or USA, a prestigious international organization focused on the professional development of hotel concierges. Sandoval is one of five hotel concierges in Austin to receive the honor.

After fulfilling the required five years of concierge service in the same hotel and a lengthy exam testing service knowledge, among other requirements, Les Clefs d'Or USA awarded Sandoval membership. In the United States, there are 550 members in 250 four and five-star properties in 32 states.

"We are extremely proud of Michael's acceptance into the Les Clef d'Or organization," said Ted Hibler, general manager of the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center. "His membership and the representative lapel pins promise an element of service few hotels can boast. Michael worked very hard to achieve this distinction and our guests will truly benefit from his expertise and commitment to service."

Sandoval joined the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in April 2010 and has earned an Associate of the Month award in addition to consistent positive praise from guests. An Austin native, Sandoval has spent 15 years working as a hotel concierge in Austin and has also helped open three hotels in his career.

"It's a great honor to wear the keys of Les Clefs d'Or USA," said Sandoval. "My favorite part of being a concierge is helping guests best enjoy their stay and I look forward to my continued service as a concierge."
