Staybridge Suites Opens 100th Hotel

Staybridge Suites reached its 100th hotel milestone in Tallahassee, Fla., faster than any other hotel brand in the upscale extended-stay category. The extended-stay hotel of the future, it reveals the latest in technology and upscale home design trends. The hotel incorporates first-of-its-kind industry innovations including a surround-sound home theater as well as kitchen and bathroom interior design trends that are essential features of upscale living today; all of which are elements of the latest Staybridge Suites prototype design launched fall 2006. The hotel welcomed its first guests on Feb. 19, 2007.

Enhanced Guest Suites

Each of the 104 guest suites at the Staybridge Suites 100th hotel features the latest in the brand's prototype design including:

o An upgraded kitchen with granite countertops and tile backsplashes as well as pendant lighting

o New bedding with white-on-white sheets incorporating damask stripe, white cotton blankets and plush duvet comforters adorn the guest bedrooms

o Guest bathrooms feature high-end granite vanities, lighted make-up mirrors and elegant sconce lighting

o The two-bedroom / two-bath suites have spacious walk-in showers with dual-purpose showerheads.

o Colors that are most widely found in new, upscale homes today

o A walnut espresso finish brings warmth and richness to the guestroom furniture

o Chocolate brown accents highlight the room's d'ecor

Innovative technology:

o Staybridge Suites recently launched the first-of-its-kind "Just Like Home Theater". The 100th hotel features the theater with a 56-in. plasma HDTV and state-of-the-art surround-sound system. The "Just Like Home Theater" is located adjacent to the Great Room; offering guests an opportunity to gather during evening Sundowner receptions for refreshments, light appetizers and conversation, then join fellow guests for a movie or sporting event in surround sound. The room seats up to 20 guests and features an old-fashioned red-wagon popcorn machine. The "Just Like Home Theater" will feature an evening event schedule and will be available for small meetings using the system's PC plug-in feature during daytime hours.

o The Staybridge Suites Tallahassee is 100 percent wireless, and wired internet access is also available in guest suites; both are complimentary. While Staybridge Suites is the first brand in its category soon to offer complimentary wireless anywhere at all 100 hotels, the 100th hotel is among the first of the brand's portfolio with this offering.

Located in Summit East, a 117-acre high-technology "Smart Campus" combining innovative technologies, services and amenities, additional technological enhancements of the hotel include:

o Each room features thin client computers with virtual management systems and clean slate software, providing a sense of security to guests that upon check out, their data will be erased and unavailable to the next guest staying in that suite

o Guest suites also feature upscale iHome clock radios and flat screen HDTV's with digital cable. The two-bedroom suites feature natural gas fireplaces with a remote control adjusting feature plus BOSE wave radios

Environmentally-Friendly Hotel Features:

o 100 percent smoke-free

o The hotel's elevators run on a special motor that uses 2/3 less electricity than the average elevator

o North Florida's only hotel with an emergency backup electrical system

o The hotel can withstand hurricanes

o Natural gas is used throughout designated areas of the hotel
