Mark Lettenbichler Appointed CEO of Regent Hotels & Resorts
Taipei, Taiwan - December 19, 2013 - International luxury hospitality brand Regent Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mark Lettenbichler as the new Chief Executive Officer of Regent Hotels & Resorts.
Lettenbichler joins Regent with over 30 years of hotel management experience, 24 of which were with The Ritz-Carlton. He held tenures at numerous Ritz-Carlton Hotels globally, starting in California then onto Hawaii, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo. Prior to joining Regent, Mr. Lettenbichler in his regional capacity as Vice President, was responsible for Ritz-Carlton Hotels throughout South East Asia including Hong Kong followed by Greater China, Seoul, and Japan, including Bulgari Hotels & Resorts.
Mr. Lettenbichler is a member of numerous professional associations: he served on the Board of Directors for the Hong Kong Tourism Board and the Tourism Commission - Tourism Strategy Group, and was also the longest serving chairman of the Hong Kong Hotels Association spanning 10 years. Currently, Mr. Lettenbichler is actively involved in numerous charities, the Hong Kong Chinese University advisory board, and is affiliated with Chevalier de l'Ordre du Merite Agricole and Le Ministre de l'Agriculture, de l'Alimentation of France.
