Shanahan Joins HVS Design as Director of Design
Rockville, MD - January 8, 2014 - HVS Design, a leading Interior Design firm specializing in the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce that Christine M. Shanahan has joined the firm as Director of Design.
Ms. Shanahan brings more than 20 years of professional design experience to HVS Design. As Director of Design, she will oversee and manage the staff of designers as well as be hands on with creating designs for the firms' numerous hospitality projects. Shanahan will be based out of the company's Rockville, Maryland office, just outside of Washington, DC.

Prior to joining HVS Design, Ms. Shanahan served as project director for J/Brice International as well as ran her own full-service interior design firm, Studio East Design. In addition to hospitality, Ms. Shanahan has extensive experience with commercial, industrial, health care, assisted living, and residential projects.
HVS Design is currently working on several hospitality projects across the country including the Westin Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware; the Hyatt Place in Southwest Washington, DC; and EVEN Hotel in Norwalk, Connecticut.
