Mark Sherwin Joins Sonesta as Executive VP Operations
Boston, MA - March 3, 2014 - Sonesta has named Mark Sherwin as Executive Vice President Operations. Mark joined the company in late January and will lead the growing operations team for Sonesta focused on cost improvement initiatives, profit improvement plans, operational fiscal responsibility, and bottom-line operations strategies.

Mark brings over 30 years of experience in hospitality to Sonesta including senior leadership roles with Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Marriott International. He was most recently General Manager for the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner. He was previously Regional VP Sales & Marketing overseeing 13 hotels with Ritz-Carlton, and VP Sales Products and Promotions with Marriott creating strategy for 10 vertical markets for the brand. Mark also has 5 years of experience within the extended stay segment.
