Wilderman Group Appoints Beverly Cosmann GM at Richmond Hill City Center
March 27, 2014 - Kristin Kurie, President of Charleston, SC-based The Wilderman Group, announced the appointment of Beverly Cosmann of Richmond Hill, GA to the position of General Manager at the Richmond Hill City Center.
In making the appointment, Ms Kurie noted, “Beverly is an efficient and organized hospitality professional with exceptional skills in new business development, contract negotiation, budget management, vendor relations, and logistic planning. Beverly demonstrates a commitment to outstanding customer service and high-quality standards. Beverly brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience to this position and has worked with prestigious hotel companies across Georgia in positions that include Convention Services Manager and Catering Sales Manager at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta and Director of Catering at the Hilton Savannah Desoto. Kurie notes, “Beverly has the ideal background in high-end hospitality management for the position of General Manager at RHCC.”
Beverly holds a bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas State University. She also is certified in Fashion Design and Management from the Guild of London and has a diploma in Fashion Design and Management from FDMC - Johannesburg, South Africa. For the past 5 years she has been Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Convention Industry Council and has been a Guest Lecturer on several occasions at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education lecturing on food and beverage.
In her role as General Manager, Beverly will continue to represent the four-year old Richmond Hill City Center to the community, Metro Savannah and the coastal region for weddings, meetings and special events. In addition, she will manage the day-to-day operations of the facility to achieve the established financial targets for the center and will be responsible for preparing budgets, marketing strategies and managing expectations for the new multi-use facility. Her responsibilities will also include stewardship of the property's innovative sustainable hospitality programs.
Opened in spring 2010, Richmond Hill City Center was designed to host a variety of event types and sizes including larger conferences with simultaneous break-outs sessions and full-sized ballroom for receptions.
