Accor Appoints VP Real Estate & Development

MARCH 16, 2007. Accor North America, one of the world's largest hotel chain owner and operators in North America, announces the promotion of Kristin Taylor to Vice President of Real Estate and Development.

Taylor is responsible for all real estate asset management activities for Accor North America's approximately 1,000 company-owned and leased properties. In 2006, Taylor's responsibilities were expanded to include the development of the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, and she will play a critical role in the growth of these brands in the future. One of Taylor's first assignments in this new role will be to head up the task force charged with designing the Next Generation Motel 6.

Taylor joined Accor North America in 1998 as Manager of Real Estate & Development and was promoted to Director in 2002. Prior to joining Accor, she was the Corporate Controller for the International Group of ClubCorp. Taylor graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BSBA in Finance and Banking. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Taylor currently serves on the City of Carrollton's Planning and Zoning commission as First Vice Chair and is a member of the American Planning Association (APA).
