North Point Hospitality Group Breaks Ground on New Springhill Suites by Marriott Lumberton
LUMBERTON, NC - April 22, 2014 - North Point Hospitality Group, Inc., an Atlanta based hotel development and operations company, announced the groundbreaking of its newest hotel project, the 118-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Lumberton, NC last week. The official ceremony took place on Thursday, April 17 with elected officials, local dignitaries and senior executives from North Point Hospitality Group.
Lumberton, NC, located off Interstate 95 in Southeastern North Carolina, is known as the halfway point between New York and Florida. The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lumberton is conveniently located off exit 22, approximately 35 minutes south of Fayetteville, NC.

The hotel is designed keeping in mind the needs of both the business and leisure traveler, giving them the extra room needed to relax and feel the comforts of home. This all-suite property will feature suites that are 25% larger than their more traditional counterparts and feature high-end upgrades such as compartmentalized bathrooms with separate powder room and sleek frosted glass doors, a pantry area with a small refrigerator, sink and microwave, and a 42-inch, flat screen LCD television. The property will also include meeting space accommodating up to 90 people, a heated, indoor pool and Jacuzzi, and a 24-hour fitness center.
The hotel is scheduled to open December 2014. Pre sale and online reservations will be available in May 2014.
