First Hospitality Group, Inc. Hires GM at Hilton Garden Inn Louisville
Jodi Sandlin will lead on-site preparations for the October opening
ROSEMONT, IL - June 3, 2014 - Rosemont, Illinois-based First Hospitality Group, Inc. (FHG) announced today that it has hired Jodi Sandlin as general manager of the new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in downtown Louisville, KY. The new-build property is still under construction and preparations for its October opening are underway. First Hospitality Group, Inc. President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.
Sandlin has more than 19 years of hospitality experience, having specialized in budget control and guest services in previous management positions with Hilton and Wyndham hotels. Immediately prior to onboarding with FHG, Sandlin served as a general manager with Pillar Hotels & Resorts in the Louisville area.

The 156-guest room, eight-story, 109,900 sq. ft. Hilton Garden Inn Louisville hotel, designed with millennial travelers in mind, will feature a dynamic rooftop bar and restaurant with unique food and beverage concepts, which is expected to be a popular venue for tourists and locals alike.
The Hilton Garden Inn Louisville's prime location in the Clay Commons District positions it within walking distance of the Palace Theatre, Louisville Medical Center, Kentucky International Convention Center, the Waterfront Park and Louisville Slugger Stadium, as well as numerous restaurants, fitness centers, shops and markets.
FHG has previously developed three existing Hilton Garden Inn hotels, including the 127-room Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown hotel, which was an extensive adaptive reuse project of the historic Loyalty Building in downtown Milwaukee. FHG currently owns/operates more than 55 hotels nationwide.
