Steve Lemmerman Named GM for the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel
October 17, 2014 - This summer, Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Hotel went under new leadership as Steve Lemmerman took over as General Manager. He brings 26 years in the hospitality industry, and is a welcomed addition to and strong advocate of this vibrant Atlanta airport hotel.
Most recently Lemmerman was the General Manager for the Charleston Marriott Town Center in West Virginia. He is also a member of the Airport Business Council and the General Manager's Council.
Steve Lemmerman - General Manager - Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport HotelLemmerman joined Marriott in 1988 after serving four years in the United States Air Force. He graduated from the University of Nebraska and earned his Master's Degree from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA. During his time in the hospitality industry, he held a variety of positions in several disciplines. His career began as an Assistant Director of Finance at the Somerset Marriott. He then moved on to a Senior Assistant Director of Finance at Boston Copley, Director of Finance at Rocky Hill, Director of Human Resources at the Des Moines Marriott and opening General Manager for the West Des Moines Marriott.
Active in the industry, Lemmerman currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Convention Bureau and the Charleston Area Alliance and is a member of the Hospitality Association and the Charleston Chamber of Commerce.
