Outrigger to Manage Wyland Waikiki Hotel

. October 14, 2008

HONOLULU, HI, March 30, 2007. Outrigger Enterprises Group today announced an agreement with WB-LCP Kuhio Owner LLC, an investment group led by Lodging Capital Partners, LLC, of Chicago, to manage the newly designed Wyland Waikiki Hotel located at 400 Royal Hawaiian Avenue. The property, which offers 400 plus rooms and suites, is nearing completion of a multi-million dollar transformation and is expected to resume operations in April.

"The Wyland Waikiki Hotel is a gem," said David Carey, President and CEO of Outrigger Enterprises. "The extensive renovation has created a unique boutique-style hotel with chic interiors inspired by the iconic artwork of world-renowned marine life artist Wyland. We are confident that it will become a popular choice for visitors seeking a very comfortable, contemporary and friendly place to stay in the heart of Waikiki."

"High guest satisfaction is a key driver of our commitment to the positioning of the Wyland Waikiki," said Steve Kisielica, principal of Lodging Capital Partners, LLC, which took ownership of the hotel in July 2006. "As such, we are proud to engage Outrigger Enterprises, which has such a tremendous legacy of achievement in Waikiki, to manage and bring top quality service to the property."

The Wyland Waikiki is a first in many ways - it is the first artist-themed hotel for Hawaii and the first hotel to showcase the beautiful artistry of famed marine artist Wyland. The property is a sea of tranquility featuring ocean-hued color schemes accented by Wyland paintings, photographs and sculptures throughout the grounds, lobby, hallways and guestrooms.

Guest amenities include a contemporary lobby with full bar, large flat screen TVs, computer workstations and a "chill" room where guests can relax, read or watch TV. Complimentary WIFI is available in the lobby, with Internet access hard wired in all guest rooms. The property also offers two renovated pools and whirlpool spa. A signature restaurant, specialty coffee shop, day spa and fitness center are slated to open over the next few months.

All guestrooms and suites offer comfortable beds with designer wood furnishings, high definition flat screen plasma televisions, complimentary in-room safe, refrigerator, coffeemaker and furnished balcony. Many rooms also include a microwave and sink. The hotel's location at Kuhio and Royal Hawaiian Avenues makes it central to the activity, entertainment and shopping that Waikiki has to offer.

The Wyland Waikiki Hotel will operate as its own hotel brand within the Outrigger portfolio while enjoying the global sales and marketing, advanced technology, and operations and management expertise Outrigger has developed over the past 60 years.
