Benchmark Appoints Michelle E. Moore DHR

HOUSTON, TX, March 30, 2007. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Michelle Moore as director of human resources for The Founders Inn of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Ellen Ruane, general manager, made the announcement.

Michelle Moore was previously corporate director of human resources for Hercules Real Estate Services, a real estate and development company located in Virginia Beach with properties in six states. In this position, she oversaw the human resources function for 40 properties.
Ms. Moore also invested four years as director of human resources for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, based at the DoubleTree Hotel in Virginia Beach. Additionally, she served previously as executive assistant and human resources coordinator for the Omni Waterside and Sheraton Waterside Hotel, Norfolk, Virginia.
Michelle Moore is a graduate of Commonwealth College, located in Virginia Beach, with a degree in Business Administration. She has achieved the Professional Human Resources designation and Fair Housing Certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and the Hampton Roads Society of Human Resources Management. Ms. Moore actively volunteers her time with Junior Achievement and the March of Dimes. She resides in Virginia Beach.
