Mauro Gomez Joins the Turner Fisheries Team

APRIL 4, 2007. Turner Fisheries, Boston's premier seafood restaurant, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mauro Gomez as Executive Chef. In his new role, Chef Gomez will be responsible for menu creation, staff management and various business aspects as they relate to the restaurant.

A native of Argentina, Chef Gomez began his training at the tender age of 12, working in the kitchen at his family's restaurant. Upon his arrival to the United States, Chef Gomez started his career in Miami working as Lead Chef at Palme d'Or at the Biltmore Hotel. Prior to joining Turner Fisheries he was Banquet Sous Chef at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida.
