Mayuresh Deodhar Named Director of Sales & Marketing for Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad City Centre
AHMEDABAD, INDIA. July 22, 2015 - Mayuresh Deodhar has been newly appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing for Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad City Centre. In this position, he is responsible for the overall sales & marketing function of the hotel. Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad has an inventory of 200 rooms and suits with a catering space of over 10000 square feet.
A career span of more than a decade in this industry, has seen Mayuresh acquire a comprehensive experience of various aspects of hospitality operations and sales. He started his career in 2003 with Rooms Division at Burj Al Arab, Dubai. He then shifted to Pune in 2006 as Head of Operations with Deccan Rendezvous, where he mastered the essentials of customer relationship management, marketing and administrative functions of the department.
In 2010, he enthused his focus in Sales & Marketing and joined the pre-opening team of the Hyatt Regency Pune. He was promoted as Director of Sales for pre-opening properties at Hyatt Place, Pune in the year 2013 and Hyatt Place Gurgaon in 2014.
A diploma graduate in Hotel Management from IHM Mumbai, Mayuresh has also earned a post graduate degree in Marketing from the prestigious Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune.
He enjoys music, driving cars, outdoor sports activities and exploring new places across the world with his family.
