Four Prestigious Wins in October Reaffirm the Hotel's Dominance in Creating Compelling Guest Experiences
Singapore, 30 October 2015 - PARKROYAL on Pickering, universally applauded for its hotel-in-a-garden concept, has claimed the title of Asia's Leading Green Hotel at the prestigious World Travel Awards held earlier today at InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong. Voted for by travel and tourism professionals across the globe, the iconic project at Upper Pickering Street held off the challenge of eight other finalists from around the region to take home the coveted title.
To further underline its domination in the sustainable hospitality space, PARKROYAL on Pickering was also recognised last week by the World Luxury Hotel Awards when the eco-chic property was announced as Singapore's best Luxury Green Hotel at Harbour Grand Hong Kong.
In a busy month for hospitality and entertainment awards, PARKROYAL on Pickering bagged two other highly sought after accolades, one of which being Best Business Event Venue at the sixth annual Singapore Experience Awards 2015. Organised by Singapore Tourism Board, the recipient of this award is recognised for demonstrating exceptional passion and ability to think differently, and for creating extraordinary experiences for consumers.
The highly acclaimed culinary experience at PARKROYAL on Pickering was praised by Chaine des Rotisseurs, Bailliage National de Singapour, which presented the hotel with the Best Chaine Event Award 2015. The members of the international society devoted to fine dining and the camaraderie of the table voted for their favourite amongst 13 Chaine events in 2015 with the Annual Caviar Brunch held at PARKROYAL on Pickering coming out on top. The award was accepted by Executive Chef, Deepak Mishra, at the Chaine Chapitre event at the Resorts World Sentosa Ocean Gallery on 24 October.
