The Westin Dallas Downtown Names Executive Operations Team

DALLAS, TX. November 16, 2015 - The Westin Dallas Downtown, which is currently under construction and set to open in December of this year, announces the hiring of the executive operations team.

The newly appointed operations team includes the Director of Operations, Director of Finance, Director of Human Resources, Director of Housekeeping and the Director of Engineering.

Charley Morales will lead the operations team as Director of Operations. Additionally, the operations team includes Chris Bruns, Director of Finance; Margaret Chung, Director of Human Resources; Manuel Suero, Director of Housekeeping; and Glen Hodge, Director of Engineering.

The operations team members collectively have vast and extensive backgrounds in the hotel industry. Morales, Director of Operations, brings 15 years of hotel experience, with a heavy background at Starwood properties, including serving as the Manager of Operational Support for Starwood North America Division and the Director of Residential Operations for Starwood West Hollywood Division.

Bruns, Director of Finance, boasts more than 20 years in the hotel industry, having served in various departments before moving to finance nine years ago. Chung, Director of Human Resources, has more than 11 years of HR experience, all working within the Starwood brand. Suero, Director of Housekeeping, brings nearly ten years of housekeeping management experience at Sheraton and Westin properties. Hodge, Director of Engineering, has an impressive 33 years of experience in the engineering department, all at Westin properties, including the Westin Galleria, Westin Seattle and The Westin Paso del Norte.

The Westin Dallas Downtown General Manager, Matt Tronsdal, is confident the operations team will successfully lead the hotel in its grand opening and for years to come.
