Hyatt Names Nate Hardesty and Christopher Finelli, Regional Vice President Sales

Hardesty to oversee the eastern region of the U.S., Finelli to manage the west/midwest territory

CHICAGO, IL. February 16, 2016 - Hyatt has appointed Nate Hardesty and Christopher Finelli as Regional Vice President Sales, respectively. Hardesty, based in Washington, D.C. will be responsible for sales production across the eastern region of the U.S., while Finelli, based in Chicago, will have the same role and is responsible for the West/Midwest region. Both will manage over 60 directors of strategic accounts and together oversee territory and third party teams that span the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. They are responsible for driving business to Hyatt's 627 hotels in 52 countries.

With more than 15 years of experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt hotels and resorts throughout the country, Hardesty brings an extensive hospitality career and background to his new role. Most recently, Hardesty was Director of Sales and Marketing of the 1641 room Hyatt Regency Orlando. There he managed 30 sales managers and coursed the property through a flag and ownership change, from what was the former The Peabody Orlando hotel to Hyatt Regency Orlando. Prior to his time at Hyatt Regency Orlando, Hardesty was Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa & Casino, and Grand Hyatt Denver. Hardesty began his career at Hyatt as a corporate management trainee at Hyatt Regency Indianapolis and is a graduate of Northern Illinois University

Finelli joined Hyatt's sales team more than12 years ago, as Associate Director of Sales for Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Later he was appointed Associate Director of Sales at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego and most recently served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago. In 2014, Finelli led his sales team to receive Hyatt's Sales Team of the Year for large hotels. Prior to joining Hyatt, Finelli worked with Hilton Hotels. Fineilli is a graduate of the Hotel Management School at University of Nevada Las Vegas.
