Barry Rodriguez Returns to Loews New Orleans Hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing
NEW ORLEANS, LA. February 18, 2016 - Loews New Orleans Hotel announces Barry Rodriguez as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. A veteran of the local hospitality industry, Rodriguez brings 13 years of hotel sales experience and an established reputation for developing successful sales strategies for luxury destinations throughout New Orleans.
“We're delighted to welcome Barry back into the Loews Hotels & Resorts Family,” said Mohan Koka, General Manager of Loews New Orleans Hotel. “His local market expertise and solid track record of success will be a tremendous asset to Loews New Orleans Hotel as we continue to build the hotel's reputation within the community.”
Rodriguez began his hotel sales career as a Corporate Sales Manager preparing for the opening of the Loews New Orleans in 2003. As a key pre-opening team member, he contributed extensively to the property's initial marketing campaign and the bid for the hotel's AAA Four Diamond rating. He later joined the Windsor Court New Orleans, where he rose through the ranks from Sales Manager to Director of Sales and Marketing. Rodriguez most recently served as Director of Sales at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans.
“Having worked over the years in several New Orleans luxury properties, it seems appropriate to bring my experience back to where my sales career started at Loews New Orleans Hotel,” said Rodriguez. “I look forward to working with this exceptional team to continue to position Loews New Orleans Hotel in the market.”
