IACC Board of Directors Elects Philippe Attia as New Vice President, and as Director on the European board, starting 1st of January 2016.
Philippe Attia, Managing Director of Chalet Royalp Hotel & Spa in Switzerland, Leading Hotels of the World, will serve a two-year term within IACC, which has over 350 conference Hotels & Resorts and meeting venue members in 22 countries worldwide. Philippe Attia has been active with IACC for a number of years and serves on the European board as well on the Global board Director.Philippe Attia commented, “IACC is a global community of passionate people and meeting venues committed to delivering exceptional meeting experiences. Philippe Attia, CHA, MBA, has an extensive senior management experience in global hospitality and Leisure, Hotels, Resorts and Conference Operations and Development, with some of world's leading hotels & resorts including Dolce Hotels & Resorts, Occidental Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Club Med, and The Walt Disney Company.
Philippe Attia led the opening of several 4 and 5 stars hotels. Experience is backed up by an MBA and CHA. He oversaw the Hospitality operations and development of several new Upscale and luxury Hotels, Resorts, Spas, Golf courses, Conference Centers, in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain...
His previous experience as CEO of -Glion Institute of Higher Education- did offer Glion the industry leadership that is invaluable to the development of Glion's curriculum and International Development.
Prior to that Philippe Attia worked for Dolce Hotels and Resorts as senior vice president Development for EMEA, and as Senior Vice President of operations, Europe, Philippe Attia was responsible for the operations of the properties in Europe, and manages the company's corporate office in Paris. He also serves as General Manager of several Hotels & Resorts in 12 different countries.
