Hotel Construction Pipeline Growth in Canada Steady with Projects Up by 10% YOY
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. September 1, 2016 - According to the latest Canada Construction Pipeline Trend Report from Lodging Econometrics (LE), the Total Pipeline ended Q2 2016 with 208 Projects/25,177 Rooms, up 10% by projects and 9% by rooms Year-Over-Year (YOY). This is the 4th consecutive quarter where the pipeline shows YOY growth.
There are 71 Projects/9,888 Rooms currently Under Construction. Projects Scheduled to Start Construction in the Next 12 Months are at 79 Projects/8,904 Rooms and projects in Early Planning are at 58 Projects/6,385 Rooms.
