CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa Opens New Restaurant
PUERTO VALLARTA, MX. June 1, 2017 - CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa on Mexico's Pacific Coast has opened a new Ceviche & Tequila Bar, located in its breezy, open-air lobby. The focal point is a wall of tequila, featuring 180 different bottles. The bar also offers 12 draft beers, hand-crafted cocktails and freshly prepared ceviche, and is quickly becoming a guest favorite.
Signature cocktails include the Citrus Passion, made with mezcal, lemon and ginger syrup or the Agave Breeze made with tequila, pineapple, basil and agave. Craft beers include Cerveza Artesanal Los Muertos, Mexicana Rubia and Agave Maria. Those who can't decide on one of the 180 tequilas can opt for a tasting that includes 1 oz. shots of three different varieties, including the resort's own CasaMagna tequila.
From appetizers to ceviches to main courses, the dishes all offer an authentic taste of Mexico. Guests can choose to add a twist to their guacamole with ingredients like grilled pineapple, chipotle puree and cotija cheese. Ceviche highlights include the signature Hamachi & Coconut ceviche, with coconut sauce, curry and hearts of palm, as well as the traditional Puerto Vallarta-style Huachinango ceviche, made with red snapper, carrot, red onion and avocado.
Tiradito options include Agua Chile, made with shrimp or fish and Callo Garra de Leon made with scallops and siracha. Main courses range from coriander-crusted red snapper to blackened tuna.
