New Appointment for Six Senses

JANUARY 18, 2008. Terence Tan has joined Six Senses Resorts & Spas to assume the role of Managing Director of Six Senses asset owning companies. He is responsible for overseeing the redevelopment of Evason Phuket, Six Senses Hideaway Hua Hin and Evason Hua Hin, in Thailand. Terence reports directly to Sonu Shivdasani, Chairman & CEO of the Six Senses group.

Prior to joining Six Senses, Terence was a real estate investment banker representing various European institutional funds in Thailand and was also responsible for real estate investment for a private equity group in North America. Prior to this he was a lawyer in London and in Singapore, and a director of an award-winning advertising agency. He was also a founder and director of two companies based in Singapore with a series of multi-award winning restaurants in South East Asia.

Terence was educated in England and brings with him a wealth of experience honed over the last decade living in Vancouver, Bali, Bangkok and his native Singapore.
