Carneros Resort and Spa Appoints Rodney Morrow as Director of Sales and Marketing

Carneros Resort and Spa is pleased to welcome Director of Sales and Marketing Rodney Morrow to the 28-acre luxury resort in Napa Valley. Morrow brings close to 20 years of industry experience and will oversee the marketing program and sales operations for the property, which is home to 100 cottages, suites and residences.

Morrow has held leadership positions in operations for several recognized luxury resort properties in the Bay Area and beyond, including Sonoma, San Francisco, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and more.

Prior to joining Carneros Resort and Spa, Morrow was the Director of Sales at Carmel Valley Ranch in Carmel (2015-2018), voted the #1 Northern California Resort by Conde Nast Traveler (2018). A North Carolina native, Morrow first launched his hospitality career at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club in Durham, NC. From there, he held his first sales position at the Durham Visitors Bureau, then moved to The Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta, Georgia (1998-2003). In 2004, Morrow relocated to California where he worked for the Pinot Blanc Restaurant (2004-2005) in St. Helena, CA, then became a Sales Manager at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa in Sonoma (2005-2006). Morrow has since held prestigious leadership positions at luxury properties including The Venetian in Las Vegas, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in San Francisco, CA, and Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa in Henderson, NV.

A natural born leader, Morrow is an avid supporter and board of trustees member of the Incentive Research Foundation where he has been elected to serve his second three-year term on the Sponsorship Committee. Morrow attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.
