Arbor Lodging Management Appoints Lucio Pelloso as Corporate Director of Sales

Arbor Lodging Management, the Chicago-based, leading hotel management company, proudly announces the appointment of Lucio Pelloso as Arbor's corporate director of sales. In this role, Pelloso oversees the sales and marketing departments of Arbor Lodging's growing portfolio of hotels across the U.S. Working directly with the property teams, he is responsible for improving sales performance across the portfolio and acts as a driving force in revenue optimization.

Pelloso brings 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to Arbor; a career that he began with InterContinental Hotels Group in Chicago as a catering rooms manager/departmental trainer. After seven years with InterContinental, Pelloso moved on to become sales manager for the Dow Hotel Company before later joining Fireside Land Development as director of sales and marketing. Hospitality Ventures Management Group brought Pelloso on as their regional director of sales and marketing to oversee their portfolio in Illinois and Michigan, which included the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Schaumburg, DoubleTree by Hilton Wood Dale, DoubleTree by Hilton Novi, Hilton Garden Inn St. Charles, DuPage Expo Center, and Serendipity Labs Chicago, a hospitality-driven co-working space. Within Pelloso's first year in the role, and among other accomplishments across the portfolio, Pelloso led the DoubleTree by Hilton Schaumburg to a 43% increase in total revenue. Prior to joining Arbor Lodging, Pelloso spent a year at the Chicago Marriott Naperville as director of sales for Janko Hospitality group.

Pelloso received a B.S. in business management from Chicago's Roosevelt University and lives in the Schaumburg, IL area, with his three children, wife, and their pets. Having grown up in a large Italian family that loved to travel and celebrate life to the fullest, he cites his upbringing as the source of inspiration for his career in hospitality.
