Omni Hotels & Resorts Appoints Cara Banasch as Vice President of Sales

USA, Dallas, Texas. May 17, 2018

Omni Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of
Cara Banasch as vice president of sales effective May 21, 2018. Banasch
will lead all field and global sales teams and will be responsible for
creating and implementing revenue-generating strategies across the
entire luxury hotel brand. Banasch will report to Daniel Surette, senior
vice president of sales and marketing for Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Prior to joining Omni, Banasch served as senior vice president of
business development and strategy for the New Orleans Convention &
Visitor's Bureau. She worked with a team of partners and professionals
to grow business opportunities for the hospitality industry and her
leadership led to a record-breaking production performance. A long-term
veteran of the hotel and hospitality industry, Banasch has held multiple
leadership roles at properties in the Starwood Hotels & Resorts
Worldwide family, where she developed winning sales and marketing
strategies in Global Sales for 16 new construction projects across
multiple cities, and as an Area Director in the NE and SE regions.

Banasch holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta
and an MBA in Global Business. Banasch has served on several board
positions throughout her career, including the PCMA Foundation Board,
New Orleans Ballet Association most recently. She is also an active
philanthropist and supports local charities such as the Audubon
Conservancy, the Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp and the Louisiana SPCA.
