 has named Jarrad Evans senior vice president, business development
& strategy.  Alex Cabañas, Benchmark's CEO, made the announcement.

Jarrad Evans was previously Benchmark's highly effective vice president of business development & strategy. In this position, he successfully leveraged relationships with ownership groups and equity partners nationwide to bring in nine new-build projects and to add eleven existing properties to Benchmark's signature brands: Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, Gemstone Collection and Benchmark Conference Centers.
Earlier, Mr. Evans was vice president, acquisitions for ClubCorp, the world's largest owner-operator of golf and country clubs, business clubs, sports clubs and alumni clubs. He has also served as vice president, business development for Troon Golf, the global leader in golf management, development and marketing.
Mr. Evans earned his Master's in Business Administration degree at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Ohio University.
