Hotel Emma Announces Beth Smith as Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Hotel Emma, the 146-room boutique luxury hotel at the Historic Pearl,
is pleased to announce Beth Smith has been promoted to Vice President
of Sales and Marketing.
Since joining the Hotel Emma team in 2014, just shy of two years
prior to the opening of the hotel, Smith has been expanding the
property's brand awareness, market reach, and strategy and execution to
grow Hotel Emma to the brand that it is today.
“I'm honored to hold this new position at Hotel Emma,” says Beth. “I've been working with the property since before it opened, and it's been wonderful to see it become such a huge success. I'm looking forward to continue working to elevate Hotel Emma's brand as one of the premier luxury destinations.”
With over thirty years of hospitality marketing experience, Smith has been instrumental in Hotel Emma's success, winning numerous prestigious hospitality awards and accolades such as AAA's Five Diamond rating, best hotel in Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler, Andrew Harper's endorsement, and more. Prior to joining Hotel Emma, Smith's former clients included Bunkhouse Group, Omni Hotel, La Mansion del Rio Hotel, the Watermark Hotel & Spa, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, and more. Smith is currently a proud board member of the San Antonio Museum of Art.
“The entire Hotel Emma team is so proud to have Beth on board,” said Bill Petrella, President and General Manager at Hotel Emma. “We truly value the hard work and creative contributions that she brings to Emma every day.”
A culinary destination in its own right, Hotel Emma is housed in a former 19th century brewery and is the flagship for Pearl's culinary and cultural community on the northern edge of downtown San Antonio. The hotel boasts an array of culinary offerings: Supper, Sternewirth Bar and Club Room, and Larder, a locally sourced gourmet market.
