Trust Hospitality Announces the Opening of Hotel 1970 Posada, as a Hilton™ Curio Collection – Guadalajara
Unveiling the culture of Guadalajara with a wealth of amenities and intuitive service, Hotel 1970 Posada Guadalajara, Curio Collection by Hilton, debuts as the second Curio Collection property in Mexico, featuring a colonial and modern style in its 162 rooms.

Closely located to the birthplace of Tequila, Hotel 1970 Posada, Curio Collection by Hilton, signifies a more than $9-million-dollar project, resulting from the remodeling of guestrooms and common areas, including the addition of a Presidential suite, a business lounge, a sky bar with open-air fireplaces, a coffee shop, a fitness center and new meeting and event spaces. This modern hotel boasts a Mexican contemporary design including custom-made headboards by local artisans inspired by Jalisco's artisan heritage, sepia-colored photographs of typical city spots, and impressive columns around the main courtyard beneath a transparent dome.
Each guestroom features Molton Brown bathroom amenities, WiFi connection, a 50-inch TV, adjustable lights, ergonomic working spaces and rain showers. Guests looking to stay longer can chose between the Presidential suite, studio-type guestrooms and master suites which offer a small kitchen, a living room and a dining area.
Through the cuisine of renowned Chef Alonso "Poncho" Cadena, guests will be able to discover the true flavors of Guadalajara, inspired by local flavors, blending creativity and visual impact, honoring the Jalisco tradition. Jal by Huesco restaurant presents a new experience with creative and flavorful dishes honoring local ingredients such as the traditional "bolillo" or "queso panela", typical of Guadalajara. On the seventh floor, one finds Se7enta - Azotea - Sky Bar, where those seeking a traditional Mexican experience may taste a tequila under the stars while enjoying of a unique view of the city.
With more than 5,920 sq. ft of meeting space, Hotel 1970 presents new spaces for up to 200 people. Located on the seventh floor, the largest space in the hotel overlooks the city and has direct access to Se7enta, the Sky Bar. All invited guests will have access to the 24-hour business center with modern audiovisual equipment and catering created by Chef "Poncho" Cadena that will astonish all attendees.
At the intersection of the most important streets in the city, Hotel 1970 is conveniently located near Plaza del Sol, Plaza Galerias, downtown Guadalajara and Expo Guadalajara, the largest convention center in Latin America.
